WCSH6 NEWS CENTER Reports “New Fake Status Floating Around” On Facebook

Last week Facebook notified users that it was making changes to their “data use policy.” They asked for feedback from users about the new changes. As a result, people posted a status update on FB that reads:
“In response to the new Facebook guidelines I hereby declare that my copyright is attached to all of my personal details, illustrations, comics, paintings, professional photos and videos, etc. (as a result of the Berner Convention). For commercial use of the above, my written consent is needed at all times!”

Tonight WCSH6 NEWS CENTER nightly news reported that a “new fake status started floating around” on Facebook.” “The absolute first thing to highlight here is that posting a status like this does not do anything to protect you legally.”

Apparently reporters follow FB and get loads of information. Why aren’t they reporting the truth?

They will report on this, but not the atrocities, brutalities, abuses, malicious prosecutions, obstructions of justice, official and judicial corruption, violations of rights inflicted upon Mainers. Mainstream media will demonize and degrade honest people to capture the attention of the public and sell newspapers without getting the other side of the story.

Our culture describes many different activities as hoaxes. When a fake story is printed we call it a hoax. One common thread that runs through all this activity is that they are all deceptive acts, or lies. A hoax, then, is a deliberately deceptive act that has succeeded in capturing the attention (and, ideally, the imagination) of the public.

Who’s the hoaxter? Who in this state is “floating around” with a “fake status?”
