The Hill reports “House votes to punish sanctuary cities. House Republicans passed legislation on Thursday that would deny federal funds to sanctuary cities.

The bill, passed 241-179, would withhold certain federal law enforcement grants to cities that have policies designed to shelter illegal immigrants from deportation.

Sanctuary cities have come under heavy scrutiny in the wake of Kathryn Steinle’s death on July 1 in San Francisco. Authorities charge that the killing was carried out by Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, an illegal immigrant with a history of felony convictions who had been deported five times.

Critics of the sanctuary laws say such policies encourage people to immigrate to the U.S. illegally at the expense of citizens.

“A refuge for whom? A sanctuary for whom?” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) asked. “A sanctuary for Kate Steinle? Or a refuge for a convicted felon with a 25-year-long criminal history?”’ Read more HERE.

The Truth Gets Out On Former Speaker Dennis Hastert…DOJ Indictment

Chicago Business reports “In a stunning development, former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert today was indicted on federal financial misconduct and perjury charges.
A federal indictment released this afternoon accuses the Plano Republican of disguising the withdrawal of nearly $1 million from various financial accounts to avoid federal disclosure requirements, and of lying to the FBI about the matter.

The federal charges allege that the money was part of $3.5 million that Hastert was paying an unnamed “Individual A” in order “to compensate for and conceal his prior misconduct” against that individual.

If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine for each count. Read more HERE.

Help The US~Observer Hold Ninth Circuit Judge Richard C. Tallman and Congressman Bob Goodlatte Accountable

CONGRESS - REP. BOB GOODLATTEJUDGE RICHARD TALLMAN

By Edward Snook
Investigative Reporter

United States – “Congressman Bob Goodlatte is the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. Holding this Office should come with great responsibility, however, in 2015, many Americans are finding that elected Republican Bob Goodlatte has abdicated both the office he holds and the judiciary committee he is responsible for.

A great number of citizens have written to and or called Goodlatte’s Office to report that Richard C. Tallman, a federal judge with the Unites States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in San Francisco, CA. and oddly enough a Republican like Goodlatte, is alleged to have committed crimes when he presided over the trial of David Hinkson in 2005. One of the accusations against Judge Tallman is that he committed Perjury during the Hinkson trial. For a federal judge, the accusation of committing Perjury from the bench is not only very serious; it is actually an accusation that the judge committed a felony crime and should be removed from the “Bench.”

The accusations against Tallman come from professionals who work within our legal system and from the court record in the Hinkson case. I actually received the accusations myself from Hinkson’s current attorney, who just happens to have been a former Deputy Prosecutor. This gives tremendous credibility to these complaints of corruption, but Goodlatte has proven to date that he really doesn’t “Give a Damn.” Without question, Congressman Goodlatte and Judge Tallman both know about and have been confronted with the accusations.

Let’s “Cut to the Chase”

The hard truth is that our federal government is in exactly the condition the government of King George was in when our founders wrote the Declaration of Independence. A small portion of the Declaration reads, “In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.” Honestly, what more needs to be said?

Let’s recap the facts in this case; Judge Tallman has been publicly accused of committing a serious felony crime; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, who appointed Tallman to preside over the Hinkson case, has been covering-up his alleged crimes; Congressman Goodlatte has absolutely refused to investigate the allegations, in fact, to my knowledge, based on information I have received, he won’t even acknowledge the accusations and last but certainly not least, our entire judicial, i.e., justice system is not merely “broken”, it has actually rotted from within!

We published our initial article on David Hinkson in our February edition – Ninth Circuit Judge Richard C. Tallman is Above the Law and Congressman Bob Goodlatte Ignores Justice – and we published an article on Hinkson by Pat Shannon in December of 2014 –Veteran Falsely Convicted by a Lying Judge. While I appreciate the few good responses and calls providing information on Tallman and Goodlatte, I am left completely disgusted that the majority of the American people can ignore the abuse that David Hinkson has endured at the hands of our despicable ‘justice ” system.

Anyone can Google “David Hinkson” and read all about his innocence. I can factually repeat that he is an honorable Veteran who had absolutely no criminal record whatsoever when he was set up by our justice system many years ago and sent to prison for 43 years, etc., etc., etc. While I fully believe he is innocent, this article isn’t focusing on that truth. I could go on and write many pages about his false prosecution, however, this article is strictly about a judge who stands accused of perjury from the bench in Hinkson’s trial and the person (Goodlatte) who we pay an enormous salary to, in order to protect all of us from such treachery.

Wake up America! If our government can completely railroad David Hinkson and send him off to prison, they can most certainly try to do the very same with any one of us. Get involved and at the very least, demand an investigation.

You can contact me if you have information on Goodlatte or Tallman at 541-474-7885 or by email to editor@usobserver.com.

Call or write to Congressman Goodlatte:

Goodlatte’s main office is located in Washington DC and may be contacted at:

2309 Rayburn HOB
Washington, DC 20515
Ph: 202-225-5431
Fax: 202-225-9681
Committee Phone: 202-255-3951

The US~Observer intends to hold both Goodlatte and Judge Tallman accountable; however, we need the public’s assistance to accomplish this. Do you know Judge Richard Tallman? Do you know someone who knows him? How about Congressman Goodlatte? Please realize this fact; If Tallman was brazen enough to commit actual crimes in the process of helping prosecute an outstanding citizen like David Hinkson, he has most likely done other things in his past, which are either unethical or illegal or both. If Bob Goodlatte can ignore Tallman, then he is no better. Did you go to college with Tallman or Goodlatte, were you married to one of them or one of their relatives? Did either of these worthless human beings abuse you or someone you know?

Congressman Goodlatte is the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and thus, represents all Americans. How can he even pretend to be fair minded if he consistently refuses to hear about judges who violate their oath of office and “commit high crimes and misdemeanors in their courtrooms?”’

New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte’s Aide Arrested In Prostitution Sting

PPH reports “David Wihby, state director for New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte, has resigned after he was one of 10 men arrested last week in a prostitution sting in Nashua, officials said.

Ayotte released a statement late Saturday saying she was shocked at the arrest of a man she described as “a friend for many years.”

“David obviously cannot continue his duties, and I have accepted his resignation,” Ayotte said. “This is a very difficult time, and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.”’ Read more HERE.

David Wihby “cannot continue his duties” because he got caught. Senator Ayotte, former N.H. Attorney General, known for her political maneuvers, is not a sleeper when it comes to corruption. During her tenure as Attorney General, Kelly Ayotte brushed under the rug evidence of official corruption and cover up by Farmington Police Chief Scott Roberge and officers Scott Ferguson and Kevin Willey. When will she be held accountable? Is it likely with her friends in high places? Do you realize just how deep the corruption goes?

The assistance of Senator Susan Collins was sought in obtaining a full investigation into this matter, as the players also involved Federal officials. Documents presented to Senator Collins on September 19, 2014, click here.

Senator John McCain Calls Code Pink Protesters ‘scum,’ tells them to ‘shut up’

“U.S. Senator John McCain had a blunt message for demonstrators chanting for the arrest of Henry Kissinger at a Senate Armed Forces Committee hearing on Thursday: “Get out of here, you low-life-scum.”

Members of the group held up handcuffs and anti-Kissinger signs and called for his arrest for “war crimes.”The protesters, from the Code Pink anti-war group, drew the ire of the Arizona Republican who chairs the committee after some of them approached Kissinger as he took his seat at a hearing on global security.

Addressing the hearing, McCain said: “I have been a member of this committee for many years and I have never seen anything as disgraceful and outrageous and despicable as the last demonstration that just took place.”

McCain said he would have Capitol Police arrest the protesters if they did not “shut up.” He then told them: “Get out of here, you low-life scum.”

Wastebook 2014: What Washington doesn’t want you to read

Voodoo Dolls, Gambling Monkeys, Zombies in Love and Paid Vacations for Misbehaving Bureaucrats Top List of the Most Outlandish Government Spending in Wastebook 2014

cover

Gambling monkeys, dancing zombies and mountain lions on treadmills are just a few projects exposed in Wastebook 2014 – highlighting $25 billion in Washington’s worst spending of the year.

Wastebook 2014 — the report Washington doesn’t want you to read —reveals the 100 most outlandish government expenditures this year, costing taxpayers billions of dollars.

“With no one watching over the vast bureaucracy, the problem is not just what Washington isn’t doing, but what it is doing.” Dr. Coburn said. “Only someone with too much of someone else’s money and not enough accountability for how it was being spent could come up some of these projects.”

“I have learned from these experiences that Washington will never change itself. But even if the politicians won’t stop stupid spending, taxpayers always have the last word.”

Congress actually forced federal agencies to waste billions of dollars for purely parochial, political purposes.

For example, lawmakers attached a rider to a larger bill requiring NASA to build a $350 million launch pad tower, which was mothballed as soon as it was completed because the rockets it was designed to test were scrapped years ago. Similarly, when USDA attempted to close an unneeded sheep research station costing nearly $2 million every year to operate, politicians in the region stepped in to keep it open.

Examples of wasteful spending highlighted in “Wastebook 2014” include:

Coast guard party patrols – $100,000
Watching grass grow – $10,000
State department tweets @ terrorists – $3 million
Swedish massages for rabbits – $387,000
Paid vacations for bureaucrats gone wild – $20 million
Mountain lions on a treadmill – $856,000
Synchronized swimming for sea monkeys – $50,000
Pentagon to destroy $16 billion in unused ammunition — $1 billion
Scientists hope monkey gambling unlocks secrets of free will –$171,000
Rich and famous rent out their luxury pads tax free – $10 million
Studying “hangry” spouses stabbing voodoo dolls – $331,000
Promoting U.S. culture around the globe with nose flutists – $90 million

545 in Congress vs. 300,000,000 People

Source: Judicial Watch, Inc. – (comment: We The People)

“Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don’t propose a federal budget. The President does.

You and I don’t have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does.

You and I don’t write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don’t set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don’t control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a President to do one cotton-picking thing. I don’t care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator’s responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.. ( The President can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it.)

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House?( John Boehner. He is the leader of the majority party. He and fellow House members, not the President, can approve any budget they want. ) If the President vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. [The House has passed a budget but the Senate has not approved a budget in over three years. The President’s proposed budgets have gotten almost unanimous rejections in the Senate in that time. ]

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted — by present facts — of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can’t think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it’s because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it’s because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in Iraq and Afghanistan it’s because they want them in Iraq and Afghanistan ..

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it’s because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.
Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like “the economy,” “inflation,” or “politics” that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible. They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses. Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees… We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!”

Couldn’t the same be said for State Legislatures?
