Governor John Baldacci and Senator Elizabeth Mitchell pushed the re-appointment of Judge Christine Foster through rather quickly. Governor Baldacci called the session for Friday so the Senate could consider his nomination of Judge Christine Foster of Portland for re-appointment to the District Court bench. Was there a public hearing on this? There’s a pending complaint against Judge Foster before the Committee on Judicial Responsibility and Disability. Why didn’t this come up by members of the committee? Oh……perhaps because judges sitting on this committee are involved with Foster’s continued judicial misconduct, obstruction of justice and extortion? The Committee on Judicial Responsibility and Disability must be rid of judges and attorneys. The policy of policing themselves must end! It’s time for judges to be elected by the people and this would eliminate any “improprieties” that appear to exist.
Before joining the District Court, Christine Foster was Assistant Attorney General for Maine for seven years (1989 to 1996). Judge Foster, as with most judges appointed to the bench, come out of the Attorney General’s office – a huge root of the problem in the judicial system.
Another interesting point in the Senate’s re-appointment of Governor Baldacci’s nomination of Judge Foster and the information posted to the maine.gov website. On Friday, November 19, 2010 I heard on the early morning news that Gov. Baldacci nominated Judge Christine Foster for another 7 years. I looked into the Maine Senate webpage and discovered the following.

It appears that Senator Elizabeth Mitchell got a few senators together, for a quorum, to get Judge Foster back on the bench before the Republicans take control.
Judicial reform in Maine is imperative. This has been ignored for decades by past legislators and governors. This new administration has a duty and obligation to the people to look into the corruption and failed policies within Maine’s judicial system. The remedy for this “disease” can only come from one place……….the people!

Tell me, how can they announce that they chose Foster at a hearing BEFORE the 10:00AM hearing took place? Somethings VERY fishy rotten in Denmark here!
This is not the first time that “decisions” are made before “hearings” are held. They do this because their “checks and balances” sit in another office/agency and cover for them. The gig is up! We are onto their lies, deceit, tactics and they don’t realize that, I guess, since they keep digging their hole a little deeper.
I just learned of someone who filed a FOA request to Secretary of State Dunlap regarding the judges’ commissions. The person requested a copy of all their commissions and offered to pay for them. Dunlap responded that the person must remit $132 for Oaths of Office. The person didn’t request “Oaths of Office.” The request was for “judges’ commissions.” The person sent a second FOA and told Dunlap that there was suspect that he was using a “delay” tactic using this trick. The person specifically asked for commissions and reminded him that he can be sanctioned up to $500 per violation (Title 1, MRS,
Chap. 13, Sec 410). The person is still awaiting a response. And why should we have to pay for copies of anything when we’ve paid for the paper, the ink, the copier, (don’t forget the salaries) etc……?

Klein, could I have a copy of your complaint to the Committee on Judicial Responsibility? There demands change with this committee. The members are appointments made by the governor….and he MUST do something about this group of bandits.
She destroyed mine, and my daughters as well. She is a vile child trafficker. She has been working with CPS to traffick children for federal funding money for years. I hope she rots in hell.
Judge Foster has destroyed many lives and families. I am aware of at least two lawsuits filed against her. However, they went nowhere. The Committee on Judicial Responsibility and Disability is a joke. Governor-elect Paul LePage must be made aware of these atrocities and brutalities. Nothing is done. Judge Fritche denied me the right to his records on pro-se’s making it to trial. No wonder? 0-77 throught USM records? Sounds like Bias!
I have worked for the Judicial Branch for 17 years. Yes, I know the corruption. James Glessner, the State court administrator is corrupt. I have him on tape confessing in front of a commissioner admitting his wrong doing. He was cornered and had no way out. He stated he got all his directions from Justice Leigh Saufley.

Richard Record, the director of the Clerk of Courts is allowing abuse in our system against the Clerks. The Maine State Union is in with them. The Judicial Branch hired a Kimberly Proffitt, the director of Human Resources. She was not a license Attorney in the State of Maine. She has been using Esq. after her name. James Glessner, is on tape stating he knew she was not an attorney, but still allowed her to write Esq. after her name. I reported her to the Overseers of the Board. Shortly thereafter, Kimberly was gone from the Judicial Branch. I have more information for you as to this corruption. We are in a real mess in this State. I have been trying to see Governor LePage to report this corruption to him. Still waiting for a meeting with him. I have proof of the this corruption.
