Philadelphia Judge Joseph C. Waters Jr Pleads Guilty To Fraud Counts After FBI Sting

Reuters reports “A Philadelphia municipal court judge pleaded guilty on Wednesday to wire fraud and mail fraud charges after a year-long FBI sting operation that caught him soliciting cash payments and seeking to influence pending cases.

Prosecutors alleged that Joseph C. Waters Jr., a Democrat who was elected in 2009, contacted two other judges in an attempt to sway the outcome of a litigation involving a Philadelphia businessman, according to court documents. FBI investigators secretly recorded the calls.

After entering the plea, Waters resigned his position on the bench.”

  1. Hi!

Well, another judge from Pennsylvania is a crook.

    Are we surprised?

    Not me!

A few years ago there were two (2) judges from that state who committed crimes against children known as “Cash for Kids.” They were in cahoots with a detention center that accepted kids who were found guilty of minor issues, and the two (2) judge accepted
    “kickbacks.”

I believe they are now in prison.

The FBI ought to arrive in Maine and investigate those who “pretend” to be judges when, in fact, NONE OF THEM are commissioned which means that not one of them have been vested with a “public” office.

Those “pretend” judges are impostors and ought to be indicted.

A recent “Maine Supreme Court” (not the original Supreme Judicial Court “of” the State of Maine) case ADMITS that none of the so-called judges are commissioned and “don’t have to be” which I will discuss on Dottie’s talkshoe show a week from Wednesday.

    This is quite an admission!

This is a violation of the Constitution “of” the State of Maine (not Maine Constitution) in Article 9, Section 3 which says “commission” and not certificate nor appointment.

For your information, a commission is under “seal” of the state, and a certificate and appointment ARE NOT (see Article 9, section 3).

    Good job, FBI!

    Keep up the good work!

    Thank you!

    Lise from Maine
