Maine Faith Blue Book (22 years ago!) – VITAL READING!!!!!!!

“This report calls for charter schools and school to work and the RISC program’s agenda of no grades, no competition, graduate at 14 or 21, etc.

Its focus on church involvement bears resemblance to dominionist philosophy.”

“Abstract: “A Reaffirmation of Faith in Maine’s Public Schools” published by Maine’s Dept. of Education, approved by Commissioner Leo Martin and Governor McKernan in 1992, identifies the traditional (? Ed) pillars of accountability for the education of all students: Schools, Communities, Religious Institutions, Families, and Business and Industry. It calls for all these groups “to provide meaningful programs to help all of our children in these times of great challenge.” One might ask what happened to the truly “traditional” Little Red School House which successfully taught students to read, write, and calculate without assistance, through “partnerships” from the above non-traditional partners?

This document also includes Maine’s Common Core, 1991, which bears a very strong resemblance to Robert Muller’s World Core Curriculum.

Everything all of us are dealing with (absolutely EVERYTHING) and some plans for future which are not yet apparent to all, are included in this document.

In effect, it spells out clearly “womb to tomb” education under the unelected community school governance formula: churches, business, family, sports, leisure, health, mental health, proper values, ungraded curriculum, Skinner method, etc. (Aforementioned is a “short list”.)

I can’t believe Maine’s Dept. of Education and Cultural Services managed to put the whole unholy plan into 38 pages.

Saw this in early 90s and was shocked. Called the Dept. of Ed and ordered 20 copies. They provided them. Thank the Good Lord I kept one to be put up at American Deception.com.

PLEASE FORWARD ALL OVER.

PLEASE READ EVERY SINGLE WORD.

This eight-disc video/DVD set of presentations and written submissions, including ones by Charlotte Iserbyt, Samuel Blumenfeld, Dennis Cuddy, Edward Griffin, Rosa Koire, Anita Hoge, Jeannie Georges, et al, is the result of two 2-day conferences, held in Maine and Georgia, August 2012 and August 2013. Fifteen of the nation’s most respected education and political researchers, writers, and speakers, including public school teachers – some in the trenches since 1965 – were videotaped. A special roundtable discussion involving researcher/activists Karen Bracken and Kelleigh Nelson, Tennessee, and Diane Kepus, Karen Schoen, and Debbie Gunnoe, Florida, provides up-to-date information related to Common Core, tax-funded school choice and charter schools with their unelected boards. Written submissions are included from the speakers, as well as from those who could not attend the conference. One is offered a banquet of written works, including rich history, from great patriots and recognized writers active from 1960-2000; i.e., Jacqueline and Malcolm Lawrence, Joan Masters, Elizabeth Trotto, Peggy Cuddy, and from equally talented individuals no longer with us: the late Maureen Heaton, Don Bell, Jo Hindman, Bettye Lewis, and Ruth Feld. This impeccable research is your tool kit: ammunition to fight and win the government/corporate/tax-exempt foundation-funded war against our children and grandchildren, and against our free constitutional republic, very aptly illustrated by Joel Pett, Pultizer Prize-winning cartoonist in his 1983 Phi Delta Kappan cartoon.”

Former Senior Policy Advisor
U.S. Department of Education
